Fern Hill Chorus
The Fern Hill Chorus is a non-auditioned independent elementary school choir from Oakville, Ontario. It is composed of nearly 90 singers in Grades 4–8 and is celebrated for its joyful spirit, inclusive community, and vibrant sound. Rehearsing weekly during lunch recess as part of a dynamic school-based music program, the ensemble nurtures creativity, confidence, and connection through their shared love of singing.
The chorus has earned multiple top honours at provincial and national festivals and has appeared on renowned stages including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Within the Fern Hill School community, the choir’s performances elevate milestone celebrations, from the Christmas Concert to Grandparents’ Day and Closing Ceremonies.
The Fern Hill Chorus performs a wide range of choral music, from global traditions to contemporary Canadian works, reflecting the diverse voices of its singers. Their mission is to inspire young people to embrace music as a lifelong source of artistry, belonging, and joy.
