Voix Des Rocheuses (“Voice of the Rockies”), founded in 1978, is Calgary’s only francophone choir. The ensemble performs primarily French-language choral repertoire, exploring a wide variety of styles, periods, and rhythms. As a non-auditioned choir, Voix Des Rocheuses welcomes all singers who share a love of singing in French.

The choir performs regularly for Calgary audiences at community events and in concert settings, contributing actively to the city’s cultural life. In January 2025, the choir participated in a joint performance of Gloria by Sir Karl Jenkins at Carnegie Hall in New York City, under the sponsorship of Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY). Under the musical direction of Ms. Catalina Guevara, the choir continues to flourish with renewed energy, musical depth, and a strong sense of community.
