DIGITAL HORIZONS SERIES

Choirs and singing groups from across Canada and around the world are invited to submit videos as part of the PODIUM 2026 Digital Horizons Series.

This series highlights more singing groups than any Podium initiative by curating a public playlist of video submissions which will be looped during the official PODIUM 2026 conference program and shared via links and social media with delegates and the public alike.

Each choir may submit up to two (2) videos of two (2) songs, with each video not exceeding 10 minutes. Choirs may include an introduction of up to 1 minute (in English or French) before each performance. Domestic choirs and singing groups are encouraged to submit performances of works by Canadian composers. Ethnic minority and ethnic-based Canadian domestic choirs are encouraged to submit performances reflecting their cultural heritage.

Each choir/singing group will receive a certificate to recognize and celebrate their participation.

NEW THIS YEAR: To encourage broader participation and provide greater visibility for choirs, PODIUM 2026 will introduce the following extra awards:

  1. Most Viewed Award: awarded to the video (group) with the highest view count by the last day of PODIUM 2026.

  2. Most Liked Award: awarded to the video (group) with the highest number of likes by the last day of PODIUM 2026.

  3. Most Commented Award: awarded to the video (group) with the highest number of comments by the last day of PODIUM 2026.

Would your choir or singing group like to participate?

Deadline: May 1, 2026
